Campus Stores Battle against Plastics published on: March 16 2020
Since 2019, Campus Store has been working towards reducing our plastic packaging by working with suppliers to reduce the amount of packaging we receive, and to look for alternative materials to keep them safe during transport (thank you BPO and Etiko). Although it may take some time to change certain practices, the eventual goal is to remove plastic packaging altogether.
Each week the Campus Store returns soft plastic generated from the business to designated soft plastic recycling drop off locations. We favour Woolworths at QV!
This is a goal we are committed to and hopefully with assistance from our suppliers, we can endeavour to achieve this! It is super easy and takes about 10 minutes out of our day to do some good.
