Georgina has been with the team since 2018 when the RMIT Store, formerly called Campus Store, moved from the Sports Precinct in B203 to it's home in B202 near the cafe, RUSU and connect.
What do you do here at the RMIT Store and how long have you worked here?
Hi there, I'm Georgina, your Retail Officer based at our RMIT Store on the Bundoora Campus. I have been in this role since September 2018. Although I have been MIA for the last few months, you would normally find me behind the counter, restocking the shelves, and dusting!! But more importantly I'm here to assist you with your needs. Apart from the sales aspect of my job. I work in conjunction with some of the Schools to ensure we have the relevant Course Equipment and Uniforms available for some courses.
What is your favourite thing you can buy at the store, and why?
It would have to be the Platinum Premium Zip Jacket. It's so cozy, super soft and warm. It also has thumb holes to keep your hands toasty and it looks cool.
What’s your favourite coffee/ food shop here at RMIT and what is your go-to order?
Considering I look out towards Niibble Café, I am often tempted with a skinny cap and banana bread. However, as an alternative one cannot forget the Sports Centre Café which is open late and weekends. On that note I’m off to buy a piece of carrot cake.
