About

Welcome to RMIT Cheer & Dance
Everyone is welcome in our club, whether you have never tried dance/cheer, have been dancing/doing cheer for a couple years or used to dance/cheer, you are guaranteed a spot on a team!

Our Cheerleading program features both co-ed and all girl teams, ranging from levels 1 to 4, offering the perfect opportunity to develop your skills, build strength and gain confidence while performing exciting routines.

Our Dance teams include Pom, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip-hop, representing RMIT in both the Premier and Open Division. Bringing the ultimate energy at every competition!

We compete at AASCF competitions, against other university teams. This year we are participating in Winterfest, Classics, State, and Nationals. They are a super fun way to add a little competitive edge and showcase our skills!

Beyond competitions and performances, RMIT Cheer & Dance invites students to build friendships and be a part of a supportive community that feels like a family. We call it the RDBX family!

IMPORTANT NOTE!
All athletes interested in joining our club must tryout on the allocated days as advertised by us. Please DO NOT purchase a club membership, or any other form of purchase through this web page until you have attended a tryout and have received a placement email. This page, plus our social media, will be updated to keep you informed when we are open for new members. We will have intakes twice a year, once at the beginning of semester 1, and once at the beginning of semester 2.

*Please note this is COMPULSORY for Pom, Jazz, and Lyrical Athletes
PREM POM: 7:30-9pm

Wednesday
OPEN POM: 7:30-9pm

Thursday
PREM HIP HOP: 5:30-7pm
HIP HOP TECHNIQUE: 7-7:30pm
*Please note this is COMPULSORY for all Hip Hop athletes.
OPEN HIP HOP: 7:30-9pm
