描述

Dolly the Bathtub Cat tells the story of a curious cat, endlessly inquisitive and fiercely independent, and the special friendship between a child and her guardian feline companion. Illustrated by Louise Wills.

About the author

Peggy O’Neal AO, RMIT Chancellor, former President of the Richmond Football Club, lawyer, businessperson, and advocate of women in leadership and inclusion in sport, has always been passionate about education and its capacity to open doors and opportunity. In her own life, that began with a love of reading. So the journey of Dolly the Bathtub Cat evolved from a desire to spark that same love in today’s children and to explore the creative process with RMIT’s Bowen Street Press.

Peggy is also the proud parent of two rescue cats: a tabby named Dolly who inspired this book and a black and white kitten newcomer, Emmylou, who pays little attention to the rules or each other.

Saskia Loer Hansen Memorial Scholarship

Profits from the sale of Dolly the Bathtub Cat will support the Saskia Loer Hansen Memorial Scholarship, honouring a much loved and respected colleague at RMIT University, whose belief in the life-changing power of education inspired so many.

The scholarship enables RMIT students experiencing financial disadvantage to undertake transformative international experiences in their chosen fields.
