Description

The Bowen Tee is named after Bowen Street, at the centre of RMIT’s City campus.

Designed for everyday wear, this version features a subtle RMIT chest logo for a more understated look, while keeping the same comfortable, easy fit.

Made from soft cotton with a relaxed silhouette, it’s built to hold its shape while remaining breathable across seasons.

Available in a rotation of colours throughout the year, offering a consistent staple with small variations across the range.

  • Colour: Mauve with full small University logo printed top left-hand chest.
  • Fabric: Lightweight 180 GSM combed cotton, pre-shrunk to
    help minimise shrinkage.
  • Fit: Classic and Fitted.
  • Features:
    Side seam construction for structure;
    Reinforced shoulder taping;
    Durable double-stitched hems;
    Ribbed neckline.

Sustainability & Manufacturing

We use AS Colour garments as the base for this product. AS Colour works with recognised global organisations to support responsible production, including:

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring fabrics are tested for harmful substances
  • amfori BSCI, supporting ethical manufacturing and safe working conditions
  • Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), promoting more sustainable cotton farming

Certifications apply to the base garment. Customisation is completed by the RMIT Store.

Clothing (hoodies, tees, polos, crewnecks, jackets and face masks)

Gentle machine wash (Redbacks Varsity, only spot clean with a damp cloth using mild laundry detergent)

  • Under 30°C, cold water preferred.
  • Mild laundry detergent.
  • Washed with like-coloured clothing. 

Do not bleach.

Cool iron on reverse.

Do not iron prints or decorations.

  • Do not dry clean.
  • Do not tumble dry.
