The RMIT Student Band Society is a musical forum for RMIT's Students and Alumni, as well as the public. In which the opportunity to be inspired, jam and find new friends through the music that is created. There are no auditions, as a valid member of the SBS, you can book a room for a meeting and join in on the fun, only requirement is to bring your instruments and friends. Audio and sound are on site, alongside other basic back line equipment such as drums, keyboards, amplifiers and microphones. Further queries about specific available back line gear and hire can be sent to the club email.

Where and when can I jam?

Saturdays & Sunday: 10am-7pm RMIT Creative Space Building 8, Level 2, Room 3.

Thursdays: 5:30pm Building 6 Level 1 Room 5

How do I book a room?

Upon becoming a member, either join our Discord or email us.

What else do you do?

We have events such as band nights, music expos, album launches, trivia and karaoke nights happen once a month.
