RMIT UNIVERSITY: BIG V PLAYER -Terms and Conditions
Background
RMIT has a well-established Basketball club and wishes to appoint you as a Player for the 2026 season. The following sets out the terms on which the appointment will be made. It is not intended to be legally binding but describes the scope and responsibilities associated with being a Player.

Player Obligations
The Player will:
- Train and compete with The Club for the period of Season 2026.
- Participate in 2x team training session per week and 2x Individual session per week at RMIT
- Attend social media appearances as directed by RMIT Sports Media team and club functions.
- Abide by The Club’s terms / conditions / code of conduct as described on RMIT Code of Conduct document.
- Pay season 2026 fees
Club obligations
The Club will:
- Pay the players registration fees with Basketball Victoria.
- Provide a Home and Away playing uniform.
- Provide free gym membership.
- Provide free and unlimited access to our medical team for Osteopathy, Chiropractic, and Massage treatments.
Other matters
The Player’s insurance cover is with V-Insurance through Basketball Victoria. Please refer to the BV Summary of cover. In the event of injury, the Club is not responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred.
