Come along to our guided lifting session on Wednesday, 9 September. We’ll be running both upper and lower body sessions, with groups split up depending on what you want to train.Whether you’re a total beginner or a regular, everyone is absolutely welcome, we're here to provide guidance & demonstrations! Our popular Pitch Night with the AGM beforehand. AGM! This is where we discuss how the club has run this year and how we want it to run next year. Have your say and vote for the next Committee. We must have at least 20 club members in attendance to confirm Meeting Minutes and Financial reports, and most importantly elect our next Committee. For the Club to continue we must elect at least the four Executive Committee Roles: The President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Two of these positions must be filled by current RMIT students. To put your name down for a Committee Position: please send filmmakers.club@rmit.edu.au your full name and the position or positions that you are interested in. Send before Saturday 12th September. Committee will be voted for at the AGM. See role information below.Pitch Night! Whether you’re a writer, director, producer, or cinematographer, this is your chance to pitch your project to an eager audience of filmmakers who want to help make your film! Or if you don't want to pitch, come along to watch and maybe join a short film crew. At the end of the night, the audience will vote on their favourite projects for an exciting prize! There will also be the opportunity to put your name down as potential crew.If you want to pitch please fill out the powerpoint template linked on instagram or can email it with details of your project and send to the RMIT Filmmakers Club email for approval by Saturday 12th September latest. No unapproved pitches will be shared.Pizza and drinks included.
