RMIT Active Awards Night 2026

Change of Mind

• No Refunds: Refunds are generally not available for change of mind, failure to attend, scheduling conflicts, work commitments, or general study commitments.
• Case-by-Case Assessment: Refund requests are assessed individually and approval is not automatic. Depending on the circumstances, RMIT may offer a full refund, partial refund, credit, or transfer.

Eligible Refund Circumstances

Refunds or transfers may be approved where appropriate supporting evidence is provided for:

• Medical or Exceptional Circumstances: Serious illness, injury, medical condition, or other exceptional personal circumstances that significantly affect participation.
• Unexpected Academic Commitments: Compulsory academic requirements imposed by RMIT after a purchase has been made that prevents participation.
• Program Cancellation: Where RMIT cancels a program, event, or activity.
• Program Not Delivered as Promoted: Where RMIT is unable to substantially deliver the program, event, or activity as advertised.

If you would like to request a refund, please submit a refund application and provide all required supporting documentation.

This is a summary of the policy. For complete details, please refer to the full RMIT Active Refund Policy.
