Round 1 of this season is going to be on the first weekend of April 2026.
Practice will commence in mid-late March
All players will be informed of location and time next week as we are still confirming a couple of training options.

If you’re keen to play this season, the first step is to become a member.
Once you become a member of the RMIT Cricket Club you go on the RMIT CC mailing list automatically. We will contact you via email to notify you about the seasons fixtures, practice matches, training sessions and once the season gets underway you will be sent match details including team selections.

What happens once I register?
Once you have signed up we will add you to the mailing list and WhatsApp group to ensure you are kept up to date.
We will post training details, match details, team selection and any relevant club updates via email & WhatsApp.
I have registered but I'm still not on the WhatsApp or mailing list?
By the start of the season we will ensusre all registered memberd are added to our communication platforms.
If you still don't receive club updates, please reach out to the committee.
How is team selection done?
Team selection is carried out by the Team Captain, registered members will be given preference first and foremost.
Selection is based on a number of factors which include - attendance at training, performance, team role and availability.
There is no perfect formula but this is a mere guide.
How many teams do you have?
We are aiming for two full teams with a 15 man squad for each at least.
Hence registrations are so important. If you have not yet registered we urge you to do so ASAP so that we can plan accordingly - more teams mean more opportunities.
At the moment we have One Saturday Team Confirmed and One Sunday Team Confirmed
