Welcome to the RMIT Badminton club!

The Badminton Club is a fun, diverse, student-run group passionate about badminton and making new friends.

We host weekly badminton sessions for casual play and socialising, along with exciting events like trivia nights, club collaborations, and movie marathons.

Joining the club means more than just playing badminton—it’s about being part of a supportive, welcoming community. Meet new people, participate in social events, and connect through our online groups.

Whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner, we’d love to have you join us and make unforgettable memories together in 2025!

Please note, purchasing a membership does NOT include session access. A separate ticket is required for each session.

Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00pm (Courts 7-9)

Saturday:
Time: 12pm - 2:00 pm (Courts 2-8)
Where: Melbourne Sports Centre - MSAC (30 Aughtie Dr, Albert Park)

Sunday:
Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm (Courts 3-6)

Membership and Session Policy

Due to limited availability for each session, tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Session tickets are released every Monday.

Purchasing a membership is not the same as purchasing a session ticket. Please note that purchasing a club membership DOES NOT grant automatic access to individual sessions. A separate session ticket MUST be purchased for each session you wish to attend.

No Walk-ins: To maintain order and fairness, we strictly cannot accommodate walk-ins. We kindly ask that you refrain from offering cash or any other form of payment at the door.

There will be no refunds for membership fees and session fees in any situations.

Cancellation and ticket reuse policy

Refund Policy: Please note that we do not offer refunds for club memberships or session tickets under any circumstances. All purchases are final, except in cases where a session is cancelled by the club.

Cancellation Notice: If you are unable to attend a session for which you have purchased a ticket, it is mandatory to inform a committee member at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. In cases of sudden illness or injury, please notify a committee member as soon as possible and provide a brief explanation—exceptions may be considered at the club’s discretion.

E.g.:
-If you cannot attend the session on Friday, they must notify a committee member by Thursday 6:30PM.
-If you cannot attend the session on Saturday, they must notify a committee member by Friday 12PM.

Ticket Voidance: Failure to notify a committee member as required will result in your ticket becoming void.

Ticket Reuse: If proper cancellation notice is given, the ticket may be reused ONCE within ONE WEEK of its original session date.
Tickets can only be reused for the same day session type.

For example:
-A Saturday ticket may only be reused for the next available Saturday session.
-A Friday ticket may only be reused for the next available Friday session.
Tickets cannot be transferred to a different day.
-If there is no session or a special event on the following same-day session, the ticket will be valid for the next available same-day session.
