Melbourne Flames Dragon Boat Club members pride ourselves on our camaraderie, sportsmanship and community spirit. We aim to make every event enjoyable for all and believe that our success depends on fostering an environment that is welcoming, supportive, inclusive and embraces diversity. Dragon boat paddling/racing is a high intensity exercise that offers a unique blend of endurance, power, strength and cardio. You will get fit FAST! We also run strength and conditioning sessions which are led by our Head Coach. Sessions are tailored to all fitness levels and are a great way to bond as a team.

Community Hub at The Dock - 912 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC 3008
Training sessions all-year-round - Come & Try Sundays, 8am to 10:30am
By Car: There are a limited number of 2-hour parking spaces opposite the Community Hub on Collins Street, otherwise there are usually plenty of spots along Bourke Street or paid parking at the nearby Woolworths (enter via Seafarer Lane or Merchant Streets).
By Tram: Routes 11, 48 (stop D18) This stop is within the Free Tram Zone connecting Southern Cross Station and the City.
By Train: Take any train to Southern Cross Station and catch the Tram or Walk 500m to the Hub. By Foot or Peddle Power Follow the paths to the Dock Library, the Community Hub is right next to it.

Melbourne Flames is a competitive dragon boat racing club renowned for success in local and international dragon boat competitions. Currently Victorian and Australian champions in numerous categories, we have also won gold against clubs from around the world at Club Crew World Championships.
