RMIT World Taekwondo Club

RMIT World Taekwondo is a social club focused on fitness, self-confidence, and Taekwondo skills. Training covers Poomsae, sparring, and techniques, led by expert coach Choi Minseung. Sessions include flexibility, stamina, and coordination exercises, welcoming students and non-students to enhance mind and body strength in a supportive, dynamic environment.

RMIT World Taekwondo is a University based, social orientated Taekwondo club.

Our aim is for our members (students or non-students) to improve their fitness, self confidence, strength of mind and body.

The training programs focus on Poomsae, Sparring and Taekwondo skills. Each session involves a variety of exercises designed to increase flexibility, improve stamina and enhance coordination. Our instructor, Choi Minseung, a highly regarded Australian Taekwondo Athlete. He is an experienced coach and an expert in World Taekwondo. He is currently Kukkiwon 6th Dan (World Taekwondo Headquarters), qualified Poomsae and Kyorugi (Sparring) Coach, qualified Kyorugi (Sparring) and International Poomsae Referee.

FAQs

When and where do you train?

Tuesday and Thursday: RMIT City Campus, Building 47, level 3 from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Bring loose, exercise clothes, a water bottle, and a small towel.

*Please note, training continue throughout the university holidays, excluding Christmas and New Year's.

Do you have competitions?

Competition tournaments are held throughout the year at various locations from state to national level.
