Underwater Rugby
Meet new friends and try a new sport with our new Underwater Rugby affiliate club, the Victoria Sea Dragons.
Underwater Rugby began more than 30 years ago in Germany and is fairly popular in areas of Europe and Colombia. It began in Australia in 2007 in NSW and has been growing ever since, now with 7 teams in Australia – Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Tasmania, Adelaide, Perth and Victoria!
The Victoria Seadragons formed in April 2014 and have kicked off our career with a splash by organising the first Melbourne Underwater Rugby Tournament on 21-22 June 2014. They are an enthusiastic club looking to expand their membership and welcome new participants to the sport.
