The 'Sentient' Lapel Pin is more than just a stylish accessory – it’s a symbol of culture, heritage, and the unique paths we each walk.
Designed by Hollie Johnson, a Gunaikurnai and Monero Ngarigo woman from Gippsland and RMIT Photography graduate, the artwork behind this pin is deeply rooted in Hollie’s cultural heritage. With triangles and diamonds symbolising men, and circles and semicircles representing women, the design is tied together by the Black, Red, Red, and Black colour sequence, honouring ancestral ties.
The linework reflects nature’s evolution: sun (yellow), land (green), and sea (blue). The intertwining paths represent life’s journeys – some connected, some separate – capturing the diverse experiences we all encounter.
Make a statement with the Sentient Lapel Pin and wear a piece of meaningful art that speaks to both heritage and individuality.
