This 100% Marino Wool Beanie is not only a stylish accessory but also a meaningful symbol of growth and education.

Designed by talented textile designer Taylah Cole, the beanie features a contemporary design using Emu tracks to represent the journey of students and their transition from home to school. The inclusion of Manna Gum leaves, a recurring theme within RMIT and the Ngarara Willim logo, adds an extra layer of depth and meaning, symbolizing the importance of Elders and ancestors.

Produced in partnership with the Ngarara Willim Centre, this beanie is a unique and special piece that you won't find anywhere else. It's not just a beanie, it's a wearable piece of art that tells a powerful story and supports our Indigenous Australian students.

About Ngarara Willim

Ngarara Willim Centre

The Ngarara Willim Centre, situated at RMIT, serves as a safe haven for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students seeking guidance and support throughout their academic journey.

The name "Ngarara" translates to gathering, while "Willim" means home in the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung dialects, the Indigenous custodians of the land where RMIT is located.

Their team offers comprehensive assistance with academic, living, and cultural requirements, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

By providing ongoing mentorship, the centre aims to empower students to achieve their full potential.

Whether you are currently enrolled at RMIT or considering applying in the future, we urge you to reach out to the Ngarara Willim Centre and take advantage of the invaluable support they offer.
