This 7‑week Self Defence Program empowers students both mentally and physically, providing practical skills, confidence, and resilience for everyday life.
What you’ll learn
Mental empowerment:
Situational awareness, safety strategies, early detection, boundary setting, de‑escalation techniques, and practical ways to manage fear. The program focuses on trusting your instincts, building confidence, and strengthening belief in gender‑based equity.
Physical self‑defence:
Learn effective techniques from Wing Chun Kung Fu, a martial art created by a woman. Techniques include palm strikes, leopard strikes, front and back kicks, knee strikes, and back strikes, with an emphasis on balance, strong stances, and using your strongest body parts against an attacker’s weakest points.
Program goal
By the end of the 7 weeks, you’ll have foundational self‑defence skills against common attacks and greater confidence to turn fear and anxiety into decisive action.
